Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program at Evanston Hospital, Emergency Department. Per-diem, with a minimum of 16 hours on-call every six weeks. Requires Illinois RN license and SANE training; BSN preferred.

Collaboration with ER physicians, law enforcement, and advocates is essential. Responsibilities include forensic exams, documentation, and participation in courtroom proceedings.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• SANE training certification (AA SANE) preferred.
• Experience in forensic nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs duties of SANE with forensic collection, STIs, and documentation.
• Attends SANE meetings for peer/chart review and standards adherence.
• Collaborates with Emergency Department, Violence Prevention Program, police, and legal entities.
• Attends courtroom proceedings related to sexual assault cases.
