Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital Niles is seeking a part-time RN for Emergency Forensic Care to provide specialized nursing care to victims of sexual assault and violence. The role emphasizes evidence-based, patient-family centered care in collaboration with the care team and requires documenting care thoroughly for legal purposes.

MI RN license is required; SANE-A/P certification is preferred for larger posts. Shift is Day, 12-hour coverage, with courtroom testimony when subpoenaed as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota? (Note: keep to MI requirements) RN license in Michigan.
• Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner certification (SANE) preferred for 0.5 FTE+; CFNC certs for SANE roles.
• Experience in acute care or relevant healthcare roles is expected.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional forensic nursing care under ANA scope.
• Collect health data related to sexual/physical violence and report to appropriate sources.
• Prepare care documentation and reports; testify in court when subpoenaed.
