Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking an Assistant Forensic Director WCGRH in Columbus, GA. This senior psychologist will supervise master’s level staff and coordinate forensic services across inpatient units.

Requirements include a psychology license and relevant advanced degrees with several years of management experience in health care services. Eligible candidates will join a team dedicated to behavior health, safety, and community reintegration.

Formación

• Doctorate or master's or bachelor's degree in a related field with required supervisory experience.
• License as a psychologist is required for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee clinical operations of three inpatient forensic psychiatric units.
• Supervise staff (counselors, recovery team facilitators, treatment mall staff).
• Review forensic evaluations and ensure quality and compliance.
• Assess admission orders, civil commitments, and patient data for legal status and admissions.
• Contribute to APA-Accredited Psychology Internship Program and committee work.
