Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related human services field.
• Experience in inpatient settings or with serious mental illness (SMI) populations.
• Experience working on an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs and provide guidance to staff writing treatment plans.
• Audit treatment plans for state standards compliance.
• Generate corrective action plans for deficiencies identified by audits.
• Ensure timely completion of treatment plans, clinical high risk profiles, and incident notes across three forensic units.
• Attend statewide trainings and disseminate information to the hospital staff.
• Maintain up-to-date hospital policies related to treatment plans and risk profiles.
• Coordinate unit coverage when staff are on leave and organize cross-unit coverage.
• Lead treatment planning meetings and complete documentation.
• Attend weekly hospital meetings and provide clinical updates.
