Job summary

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) in Essex County is seeking a Juvenile Court Clinic Psychologist to join the JRI-ECJCC clinical assessment program at the Juvenile Court in Essex County. The role focuses on court clinic evaluations, report writing, and testimony related to CRA, delinquency, care and protection, and competency issues within MA juvenile courts. Applicants must hold a Ph.D.

or Psy.D. in psychology and a MA independent license; CJCC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or forensic psychology.
• Must hold an independent psychologist license in Massachusetts.
• CJCC certification preferred; experience with court-involved youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct court clinic evaluations and prepare timely written reports.
• Provide testimony and consultation on CRA, delinquency, care and protection, and competency issues.
• Collaborate with court personnel, attorneys, and collaterals to clarify referrals.
• Maintain confidential court clinic records and comply with DMH and CJCC standards.
• Travel to various juvenile courts as needed for evaluations and on-site coverage.
