Job summary

Justice Resource Institute seeks a Juvenile Court Clinic Psychologist to join the Essex County program. The role involves conducting court clinic evaluations, preparing quality written reports, and providing testimony as required by the Juvenile Courts of Essex County in Lynn, Lawrence, Salem and Newburyport. A Ph.D.

or Psy.D. in psychology and MA licensure are required; CJCC certification is preferred, with travel to multiple juvenile courts and collaboration with court staff a core part of the

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or forensic psychology.
• Must hold an independent psychologist license in Massachusetts.
• CJCC I & II certification preferred.
• Clinical experience with children/adolescents required.
• Experience with court-involved juveniles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct court clinic evaluations and provide timely written reports.
• Offer testimony relevant to CRA, delinquency, care and protection and other forensic questions.
• Travel to juvenile courts served by ECJCC/JRI as directed for evaluations or on-site coverage.
• Maintain court clinic records and ensure confidentiality per laws and policies.
• Collaborate with court personnel, attorneys and collaterals to clarify referral questions.
• Create and maintain reports and correspondence using MS Word and related software.
