Job summary

Justice Resource Institute in Brockton, MA seeks a licensed Juvenile Court Clinician (LICSW or LMHC) to join the Southeast Juvenile Court Clinic Program, primarily serving the Brockton Juvenile Court. The role involves evaluations, reports, and liaison work across courts and local agencies.

The position requires MA licensure and at least 2 years of youth-focused clinical experience, with opportunities for bilingual applicants and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) or licensed mental health clinician (LMHC), licensed in Massachusetts.
• At least two (2) years of experience in providing clinical services to youth and families.
• Experience conducting assessments of juveniles.
• Experience conducting evaluations of court-involved juveniles is preferred.
• Must possess strong writing and communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with non-mental health professionals.
• Bilingual capacity preferred.
• Must pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in CJCC training and attain certification.
• Conduct court clinic evaluations and provide quality written reports to the Court.
• Become familiar with local treatment resources for court-involved youths and families.
• Provide clinical consultation and liaison services to judges, probation officers, attorneys and other court personnel.
• Consult with schools, local state agencies, and other service providers as needed.
• Follow procedures for collaborating with state agencies and school programs to facilitate treatment and services.
• Comply with ethical standards, court policies, and mandatory reporting obligations.
• Create and maintain court clinic records in accordance with statutes and regulations.
• Travel between courts and sites as required.
