Centurion Health seeks a full‑time Forensic Psychologist to support Lynn and Haverhill district courts in MA. The role involves court consultations and facilitating statutory evaluations for individuals with mental illness and substance misuse concerns.

The position offers hybrid work options after training with remote and in‑person service expectations. The ideal candidate holds an active MA psychology license (or eligible) and a forensic designation (DFP) or the ability to obtain one, plus

Qualifications

• Active licensed Psychologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or ability to obtain licensure.
• Designated Forensic Professional (DFP) or ability to obtain
• Current/valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with court‑involved criminal defendants preferred
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to the court and facilitate statutory evaluations for individuals with mental illness and substance misuse concerns.
• Evaluate the need for emergency hospitalization
• Assess competence to stand trial or criminal responsibility
• Evaluate need for hospitalization of mentally ill prisoners
• Determine mental condition of witnesses
• Aid in sentencing evaluations
• Collaborate with the Forensic Health Services team to support court clinics across Massachusetts
