Job summary

CFG Health is seeking a Psychologist at the Juvenile Justice Center in Chatsworth, NJ to assess, diagnose, and treat youths with mental health, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The role requires sex offender experience with juveniles and will involve clinical evaluations and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy, developing treatment plans, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, PREA, and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Psychologist
• Experience in clinical, counseling, or related psychology setting preferred
• Knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
• Educate clients and families on mental health conditions and coping strategies
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality laws, and organizational policies
• Other duties as assigned.
