Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks experienced professionals in forensic engineering to collect and analyze evidence, prepare detailed reports, and provide expert testimony across a national practice.

You will collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, and clients, applying rigorous standards and ethical practices in every investigation. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering, PE licensure or eligibility, and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• Master's or PhD is preferred for advanced research and leadership.
• P.E. license is required, or ability to obtain licensure.
• Minimum 5+ years of forensic engineering or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, preserve, and analyze evidence from scenes or sites.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of investigations.
• Provide expert testimony in court and other legal venues.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, and clients.
• Stay informed on forensic engineering advances and best practices.
• Ensure investigations meet legal and ethical standards.
• Consult with clients on forensic engineering matters and findings.
• Prepare clear written reports and presentations of findings.
• Support business development to identify potential clients.
