Job summary

New Beginnings Counseling seeks a Clinical Coordinator I in Hayward, CA to lead clinical operations for forensic programs. You will oversee service delivery, maintain caseloads, conduct assessments, and coordinate team training with CASOMB guidance.

Role requires advanced clinical expertise in forensic populations, strong regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage multiple priorities while upholding trauma‑informed care and high standards of treatment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field (CA licensed).
• Licensed in California with BBS (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or Board of Psychology (Ph.D/PsyD).
• Minimum 8 years of clinical experience, including 5 years in forensic/sex offender treatment.
• Minimum 6 years of administrative/management experience in clinical settings.
• Experience providing board-level supervision and CASOMB supervision (or eligible).
• Proficient in CBT and risk-need-responsivity (RNR) principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of clinical service delivery for forensic populations.
• Maintain active clinical and supervision caseloads per guidelines (50% clinical).
• Conduct clinical assessments, intakes, screenings, and evaluations.
• Facilitate training to strengthen forensic clinical skills.
• Monitor DCC levels and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Provide board-level supervision and mentorship to staff and trainees.
