Job summary

HOPE Program in California seeks a Clinical Coordinator (Ph.D., Psy.D., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to lead clinical operations in our substance abuse and sex offender treatment program. The CC provides clinical oversight, supports the Clinical Director, ensures regulatory compliance, and mentors licensed and trainee staff across multiple clinics.

Ideal candidates bring advanced forensic mental health expertise, 8+ years of clinical experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in California with BBS (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or Board of Psychology (Ph.D/PsyD).
• Minimum 8 years clinical experience, including 5 years in forensic or sex offender treatment.
• Minimum 6 years administrative or management experience in clinical settings.
• Experience providing board-level supervision and CASOMB supervision (or eligible).
• Ability to manage difficult client discussions and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of reliability and high performance.
• In-depth knowledge of CBT and evidence-based forensic treatments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical service delivery for forensic populations.
• Maintain active clinical and supervision caseloads per guidelines (50% clinical focus).
• Conduct clinical assessments, intakes, screenings, evaluations, etc.
• Facilitate team meetings and CASOMB training to strengthen forensic skills.
• Monitor Direct Clinical Contact levels and develop corrective action plans.
