Job summary

HOPE Program in California seeks a Clinical Coordinator (Ph.D, Psy.D, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to lead clinical and operational efforts in a community forensic mental health clinic. You will oversee service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise staff across multiple sites.

The role requires extensive forensic experience, board-level supervision, and a commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based care in partnership with courts and community partners.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field.
• Licensed in California with BBS (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or Board of Psychology (Ph.D/PsyD).
• Minimum 8 years of clinical experience, including 5 years in forensic or sex offender-specific treatment.
• Minimum 6 years of administrative or management experience in clinical settings.
• Experience providing board-level supervision and CASOMB supervision (or eligible).
• Ability to manage difficult client discussions and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication; reliable and organized.
• Proficiency in CBT, Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) principles, and sex offender curricula.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of clinical service delivery for forensic populations.
• Maintain active clinical and supervision caseloads per guidelines (50% clinical).
• Conduct clinical assessments, intakes, screenings, and evaluations.
• Facilitate forensic training to strengthen clinical skills; monitor DCC levels.
• Ensure regulatory, contractual, and ethical compliance (CASOMB, BBS/BOP, ATSA).
• Provide board-level supervision and mentorship to licensed staff and trainees.
• Engage with referral sources, courts, probation/parole, and community partners.
• Contribute to program design, expansion, and quality improvement initiatives.
