Job summary

HOPE Program is seeking a Clinical Coordinator I to provide clinical leadership across forensic clinics in California. You will oversee service delivery, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with CASOMB and BBS/BOP standards while maintaining high-quality treatment outcomes for justice-involved clients.

The role requires advanced clinical expertise in sex offender populations, strong communication, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Licensed in California with BBS (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC) or Board of Psychology (Ph.D/PsyD).
• Minimum 8 years clinical experience, 5 in forensic/sex offender treatment.
• Minimum 6 years administrative/management experience in clinical settings.
• Experience providing board-level supervision and CASOMB supervision (or eligible).
• Ability to manage difficult client discussions and multitask to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in CBT, Risk-Need-Responsivity concepts, and forensic curricula.
• Independent work style with high-pressure performance.
• Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of clinical service delivery including caseloads and staffing.
• Maintain active clinical/supervision caseloads (50% clinical).
• Conduct clinical assessments, intakes, screenings and evaluations.
• Facilitate team meetings and CASOMB-focused training.
• Monitor DCC levels and develop corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance (CASOMB, BBS/BOP, ATSA).
• Provide board-level supervision and mentorship to staff and trainees.
• Engage referral sources, courts, probation/parole, and partners.
• Contribute to program design, expansion, and quality improvement.
• Track clinic metrics and ensure objectives are met.
