The Agency for Persons with Disabilities is seeking a Forensic Liaison to manage case coordination for forensic clients, ensuring proper placement and access to services as mandated by law. This role will act as the primary liaison for FS 393.11 commitments and assist with related court and community service links.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to travel.
• A valid driver's license or other efficient means of transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Liaison between facilities and region for clients under FS 916 or FS 393.11, including eligibility, discharge planning, and linking to services.
• Make regular contact with forensic clients ordered by courts to ensure adequate services and community safety.
• Monitor and ensure reporting requirements are met, including arranging annual 393.11 evaluations and ensuring timely filing.
• Ensure clients have adequate community services to meet court requirements, including home visits to verify health and safety.
• Assist regional court staff in identifying psychologists to conduct evaluations and provide report guidance.
• Provide training to waiver coordinators and service providers serving forensic clients; assist with provider development.
• Liaison with court/probation staff to ensure client understanding of expectations.
• Other duties as needed.
