Job summary

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities in Florida seeks a Forensic Liaison to coordinate case management for forensic clients, ensuring access to proper services and safety under FS 393.11 and related statutes, while maintaining program integrity.

You will liaise with facilities, courts, and service providers, monitor reporting and evaluations, and help clients access community resources. This on-site role requires travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to travel.
• A valid driver's license or alternative transportation.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between facilities and region for forensic clients and services.
• Regularly contact forensic clients and providers to ensure services are in place and safety is maintained.
• Monitor and ensure reporting requirements are met, including annual evaluations and timely filing.
• Ensure court-ordered services provide adequate community support and conduct routine home visits when needed.
• Assist in locating psychologists for evaluations and provide technical assistance on reports.
