Charles Taylor is seeking a forensic accountant to resolve financial insurance losses from inception to settlement, including BI, product recall, cyber and fidelity claims. You will assess the real economic impact of insured incidents and help clients minimize risk and protect assets.

The role involves reviewing financial data and supporting information, communicating findings to brokers, lawyers and management, and potentially negotiating quantum with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess insured financial losses from inception to settlement.
• Provide support and advice to policy holders in relation to their losses.
• Examine claims forms, policies and endorsements to determine coverage in events of loss.
• Service current clients and build relationships to grow the client base.
• Interview claimants and witnesses, obtain official reports, inspect damage and compare evidence.
• Perform detailed analysis and review of financial and non-financial information.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information.
• Identify potential litigation when appropriate.
• Present evidence and act as an expert witness in legal proceedings.
