Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is looking for a Foreman to lead our Telecom Underground team in Florida. You will supervise crews, ensure safety protocols, read blueprints, and manage project timelines on underground telecom installations and maintenance.

You will train crew members, coordinate with supervisors, and communicate with property owners to resolve issues. The role requires at least three years of related experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Prior Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines and safety standards.
• Assist with training of crew members.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Assist Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
• Speak with property owners about work and resolve issues.
• Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Help with training of crew members
• Read and understand blueprints
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Assist Supervisor with day to day activities
• Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues
• Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related work experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
