Job summary

Telcom Construction, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman to oversee telecom construction crews and ensure projects stay on schedule. You will also manage equipment, supervise day-to-day activities, and ensure a safe, productive worksite with DOT paperwork maintained.

We value hands-on leadership and adherence to OSHA/DOT regulations, plus provide opportunities for ongoing training and professional growth within a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience leading field crews and coordinating activities.
• Ability to safely operate and monitor heavy equipment on worksites.
• Knowledge of safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and updates.
• Oversee training of crew members and enforce safety policies.
• Maintain DOT paperwork and production notes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
