Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman to lead telecom construction crews, operate assigned equipment safely, and help keep projects on schedule. You will assist the supervisor, train crew members, and ensure adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations in all weather conditions.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Three years of related work experience required; Foreman experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines.
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed.
• Oversee and help with training of crew members.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations are followed.
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, including maintenance.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma / GED

Three years related experience

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older


• Authorization to work in the United States for this company


• A valid driver’s license


• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred


• At least three years of related experience


• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds


• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
