Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman on our Telecom Construction team in Alabama. You will lead crews, coordinate field operations, and ensure projects stay on schedule while managing equipment and materials for safety and productivity.

You will train crew members, maintain DOT paperwork, and enforce OSHA standards. The role requires at least three years of related experience; a valid driver's license and ability to work in all weather are a must.

What You’ll Do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines


• Safely operate and control assigned equipment


• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed


• Oversee and help with training of crew members


• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations


• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork


• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance


• Perform work in all weather conditions


• All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older


• Authorization to work in the United States for this company


• A valid driver’s license


• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred


• At least three years of related experience


• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds


• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
