Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to lead on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding less experienced crew members.

The role requires coordinating with teams, handling storm response travel, and ensuring daily work orders are completed with safety in mind. This is an on-site, hourly position in Lebanon, PA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Must pass a DOT physical and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related field experience.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to certify.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of fiber/telecom cables and related structures per codes and customer needs.
• Maintain safe work areas and manage traffic flow on site.
• Climb heights using proper climbing gear when required.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws) safely.
• Provide guidance and support to crew members as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks for productivity and safety.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class "A" driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
