Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. in the United States is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on-site and act as the on-site expert guiding less experienced team members.

You will lead crews, coordinate with customers, complete daily work orders, and be ready to travel for storm response while maintaining high productivity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• CDL Class A license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
