Job summary

Lambert's Cable is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems at field sites. You will guide less experienced teammates, ensure safety, and uphold regulatory standards while coordinating with the on-site crew.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, a valid CDL-A is preferred, and readiness to travel for storm response. This hourly position offers benefits and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with clean record.
• DOT physical exam clearance with a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years related work experience.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to obtain.
• CDL Class A license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables and supporting structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Keep work areas safe and traffic flowing smoothly on site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to crew members as needed.
• Travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older


• Authorization to work in the United States for this company


• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience


• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record


• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card


• At least 3 years of related work experience
  
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified


• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds


• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
