Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on-site. You will guide and support less experienced team members and be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, crew leadership, and adherence to codes while delivering reliable fiber/telecom solutions for customers in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience; pole climber certification or willingness to obtain it.
• CDL Class A driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fiber/telecom cables and supporting structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Maintain safe work areas and manage traffic flow on the job site.
• Climb heights using hooks and ladders safely.
• Use hand and power tools safely (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance and support to crew members as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experienceTo be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse

Wage range for Foreman Telecom Aerial is $27.00 - $32.00
