Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. in Clearwater, FL seeks a Telecom Aerial Foreman to supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems on-site. You will guide less-experienced crew members, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and meet customer requirements.

Travel for storm response may be required on short notice. You will document daily progress, mentor teammates, and contribute to a safety-first culture and reliable network uptime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• CDL Class A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems per codes and customer requirements.
• Safely operate bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
• Maintain safe work areas and ensure smooth traffic flow on-site.
• Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks safely.
• Provide guidance to crew members and travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical Abilities & Exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
