Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding less experienced crew members on-site.

You will travel for storm response on short notice and document daily productivity and safety checks. Candidates should have 3+ years of related work experience and a valid DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam, with a valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Be a certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, code-compliant installation of fiber/telecom cables and support structures.
• Maintain safe work areas and manage on-site traffic flow.
• Climb and operate using hooks and ladders at heights.
• Use hand and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws) safely.
• Provide guidance to crew members and support storm-response needs.
• Document productivity and safety checks via daily work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

• Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified
• CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse

The wage range for Foreman Telecom Aerial is$27.00 - $32.00.
