Jackson County Missouri is seeking a Public Works inspector to conduct field inspections of roadway construction projects, bridges, and related structures. You will coordinate material testing to ensure quality control and support engineering design work for ongoing construction programs.
The role requires an Associate’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, plus a Missouri driver’s license and background/drug screening clearance.

Responsible for conducting field inspections of projects including, roadway construction and reconstruction, bridges, culverts, and road maintenance; assisting with technical design work in support of construction projects . Coordinates the testing of various road construction materials to ensure construction and quality control standards are met. Responsible for inspections, documentations, and inventory of bridges and structures according to Federal guidelines.
