Essential Duties

• Prepare material take-offs, layout appropriate systems, and create isometric and schematic sketches from blueprints, specifications, submittals, and job orders.
• Participate in job planning, manage construction schedules, estimate man-hours, and ensure proper staffing based on equipment and tools knowledge.
• Coach, mentor, and guide craft workers (piping trade). Schedule and coordinate activities, verify staff certifications.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Eliminate hazards and perform safety observations.
• Coordinate material, tool, and supply placement and storage; maintain tool inventory.
• Verify delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
• Work with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands.
• Identify conflicts or clarifications needed in contract documents.
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
