Job summary

Ghidotti Berger, LLP is seeking a Remote Foreclosure Specialist to provide administrative support for Illinois matters. You will compile, organize, and summarize information for attorneys, maintain case files, and perform legal research to support filings.

This role requires 2+ years in foreclosure, familiarity with CRMs and e-filing, strong attention to detail, and effective communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Full-Cycle/Cradle to Grave experience within Judicial Foreclosure (IL preferred).
• 2+ years experience with mortgage foreclosure reporting web portals (CRMs).
• Organizational skills: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Compiling, preparing, and summarizing information for attorneys in discovery and pleadings.
• Maintaining and updating active case files in the firm’s database.
• Performing legal and operational research as part of case prep and suit filing.
• Interacting with clients to gather documentation.
• Assisting attorneys with case file management, including research and document production.
• Preparing documents for attorney review (complaints, motions, etc.).
• Completing service of documents as required by local rules.
• Filing documents with courts across states/jurisdictions.
• Calendaring deadlines and hearing dates.
• Responding to client inquiries.
• Internal and client system updates.
• Communicating with team to achieve goals.
• Multitasking and prioritizing tasks.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Remote Foreclosure Specialist who will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support on matters assigned in Illinois. Tasks assigned to Foreclosure Specialists include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant information and materials to be used by attorneys in discovery and in preparation of complaints, motions, briefs, pretrial memorandums, and other legal documents


• Maintaining and updating active case files in the firm’s database


• Performing legal and operational research as part of case prep and suit filing


• Interacting with clients as directed to gather appropriate support documentation


• Assisting attorneys with all aspects of a case file management, including research, document production, accuracy reviews, and cost tracking


• Preparing documents for attorney review including but not limited to complaints, motions, proposed orders, proofs of service, and other documents as assigned


• Completing service of documents as required by local rules.


• Filing documents with various courts throughout the various states/ jurisdictions


• Calendaring deadlines and hearing dates


• Responding to client inquiries


• Internal and client system updates


• Communicating with team members both verbally and in written form to understand team goals, then help execute on the plan to realize those goals


• Multitasking, prioritizing, and working efficiently from one task to the next.

Requirements

Qualifications:
