Job summary

Bonial & Associates, P.C. in Dallas, TX seeks a Foreclosure Paralegal I to support attorneys in overseeing foreclosure portfolios, preparing documents, and ensuring compliant processing.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year foreclosure experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment. Paralegal certification is preferred but not required; experience with BlackKnight/MSP is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of foreclosure experience; Bachelor’s preferred
• Experience working in BlackKnight and MSP systems
• Mortgage Servicing or legal experience preferred
• Paralegal certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documents and/or processing transactions.
• Quality assurance review of all data entered against source documents to ensure accuracy in legal proceedings.
• Review and interpret all documents including recorded Deed of Trusts, Property Title, dockets, pleadings, etc.
• Prepare and mail Notices of Acceleration, Notices of Application to Foreclosure, Motions and Orders to Foreclosure, and file required documents in the proper courts.
• Interface with court personnel regarding file status, hearing scheduling and order entry.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and escalated items to Attorneys as needed.
• Ensure the required notices and motions are prepared, received, audited, mailed and/or recorded in accordance with client, company, investor and state and government agency guidelines.
• Escalation of issues to internal and external parties for any issues related to legal processing.
• Respond to escalated inquiries from clients, debtors and debtors’ attorneys, vendors and staff regarding internal and external processes.
• Update client systems with documents or message detail per client work standards
• Perform other duties as assigned.
