Job summary

First American is seeking a Foreclosure Specialist to manage mortgage foreclosure files, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. You will coordinate with mortgagors, attorneys, investors, and trustees, ensuring timely First Legal Actions and thorough file reviews.

Candidate should bring 3+ years in mortgage foreclosure or related areas, strong communication skills, and experience with MSP/LoanSphere to support accurate and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Mortgage Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and/or Legal.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.
• Familiarity with MSP and LoanSphere preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service mortgage accounts to ensure foreclosure complies with laws and guidelines.
• Manage First Legal Actions and deadlines; coordinate with attorneys and investors.
• Review foreclosure files for default timeframes and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor attorney performance and process timeframes across the foreclosure lifecycle.
• Follow up on requests from internal and external partners; audit accounts.
• Analyze portfolio performance and timelines to support risk controls.
