Job summary

M&T Bank in Getzville, NY is seeking an operations support associate for Business Banking and Consumer Collections. You will perform data entry, process documents, and maintain account information to keep the team up to date.

Responsibilities include preparing letters, processing debt validations, drafting reaffirmation agreements, and coordinating with attorneys and vendors. A High School diploma/GED and 1 year of related experience are required; Associate’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED plus 1 year related experience.
• Proficient PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet and email software.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of various types and from multiple sources.
• Prepare/mail letters to attorney/trustee, customers, vendors or other third parties.
• Process debt validations; create up to three response letters to customers disputing responsibility for a loan.
• Prepare Reaffirmation Agreements with supporting documents and mail to attorneys.
• Prepare Proof of Claims (POC’s) for submission with supporting documentation.
• Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls and maintain internal standards.
