Zusammenfassung

Newrez is seeking a Contested Foreclosure Specialist I to support the Foreclosure Department with litigation matters related to foreclosure accounts. Travel may be required as cases are monitored and outside counsel is supported to maximize recovery through the court system.

Responsibilities include managing assigned foreclosure cases, handling requests from attorneys, processing discovery and complaints, and assisting the legal team with asset recovery efforts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years direct foreclosure experience required.

Aufgaben

• Manage cases within the foreclosure litigation inventory as assigned by Supervisor.
• Process requests from assigned attorneys for media issues, settlement authority, and related actions to advance suits.
• Handle discovery, complaints, and counterclaims as assigned and assist with document execution.
• Provide support to Supervisor and legal department with assigned cases.
• Support legal recovery efforts with information and analysis.
• Identify issues or trends and escalate to Supervisor as needed.
• Assist on special projects and take on tasks to meet objectives.
• Potential to testify at deposition/trial by various means.
