Job summary

Newrez LLC seeks a Contested Foreclosure Specialist III to support the Foreclosure Department in litigation matters related to foreclosure accounts. The role requires travel and in-person or telephonic appearances as a records custodian and witness to explain servicing processes under oath.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in foreclosure or mortgage servicing, a strong legal background, and ability to manage multiple cases with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 5+ years direct foreclosure or mortgage servicing experience required.
• Legal field experience with a law firm is desired.
• 3+ years in litigation resolution required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contested foreclosure cases.
• Appear in person or telephonically as records custodian and fact witness.
• Read and interpret mortgage documents for litigation testimony.
• Settle cases within provided settlement authority.
• Coordinate discovery responses with attorneys and firms.
• Track actions and witness requirements in the case systems.
