Job summary

Iberdrola in the United States is seeking a Lead Analyst for Sales & Load Forecasting to drive forecasts and analyses for NY, ME, and CT. You will manage technical, analytical, and regulatory work, leading major projects related to rate proceedings and collaboratives that advance company objectives.

You will coordinate load forecasting with NYISO/ISO-NE, analyze weather impacts, and communicate model results to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Load and revenue forecasting skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical capabilities with data-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of statistical modelling desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead load forecasting and load research analyses for NY, ME, and CT.
• Forecast electric peak demand and analyze weather impacts on sales.
• Engage with ISO-NE/ISO/FERC task forces and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate with marketing on large customer capacity expectations.
• Develop new forecasting methodologies for regulatory needs.
• Create load profiles from AMI data to support rate design and planning.
