Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Forecast Solutions Analyst II in Houston, TX to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of energy load data, including acquisition, validation, analysis, and forecasting.

You will collaborate with Pricing, Portfolio Management, IT, and Middle Office to ensure data quality and enable informed commercial decisions. The role emphasizes transforming legacy processes into scalable, automated solutions and delivering insights that improve forecasting and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related field, or 5 years of hands-on experience.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, forecasting, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of data quality governance, validation, load data management, and forecasting methodologies.
• Experience in cloud-based data environments, including Databricks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data inconsistencies across sources.
• Experience developing automated data processes and dashboards to improve forecasting outputs and operations.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to scale solutions and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end lifecycle of energy load data: acquisition, validation, analysis, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Portfolio Management, IT, and Middle Office to ensure data quality and enable decisions.
• Identify risks associated with customer load profiles and market dynamics; drive cleaner data outcomes.
• Transform legacy processes into scalable, automated, harmonized solutions.
• Improve data completeness, enhance forecasting accuracy, and deliver actionable insights for business performance and risk mitigation.
• Position sits in Houston, TX reporting to Forecasting Solutions Manager.
