Job summary

Reserv is seeking an Operations Lead, Forecasting and Planning to own forecasting customer claim volume and headcount needs across a rapidly scaling organization. You will build and steward forecasting processes, maintain our model, and partner with finance, operations, and account management to inform staffing decisions.

You will ensure inputs are accurate, surface insights, and influence staffing strategy for hundreds of employees in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in claims forecasting, capacity planning, analytics, finance, operations, and/or BI.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data integrity checks.
• Ability to own and troubleshoot a complex forecasting model with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical skills with large or incomplete datasets and defensible assumptions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical concepts.
• Preferred experience using SQL to extract and analyze datasets; actuarial exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the principal owner of capacity planning and volume forecasting to ensure staffing aligns with programs.
• Build repeatable processes around forecasting and capacity planning.
• Maintain and evolve the claims forecast model (Excel-based) to reflect business needs.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources and prepare forecast outputs for leadership.
• Identify discrepancies and provide insights on utilization, capacity, and risk.
• Communicate results and recommendations to senior stakeholders to drive decisions.
• Partner with finance to align headcount with budgeting cycles and with sales for cycle alignment.
• Troubleshoot complex spreadsheets and ensure documentation and versioning.
