The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Planning & Analytics Strategist to lead the development of forecasting models and deliver deep performance analytics to guide executive decisions. You will translate historical trends into actionable projections and help optimize resource allocation across Product, Marketing, and Finance.

Ideal candidates have strong statistics and business acumen, capable of storytelling with data, and comfortable building scalable analytical frameworks in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Business Analytics, Strategic Planning, or Quantitative Finance.
• Forecasting methodologies and statistical analysis (time-series, regression, causal modeling).
• Proficiency in "Retail Math" and a strong understanding of business performance drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with ambiguous datasets and scalable analytical frameworks.
• Strong track record of influencing business strategy through data-driven insights.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage demand forecasting models to support annual planning and re-forecasting cycles for eCommerce businesses.
• Initiate planning and forecasting for strategic partners and core business performance across channels.
• Prepare weekly business reviews and MBRs, presenting analysis, scenarios, and recommendations to leadership.
• Analyze key drivers and variances against forecast, with root-cause analysis for stakeholders.
• Lead recurring performance reporting and ad hoc analyses for ongoing business needs.
• Lead scenario modeling and performance measurement for promotional strategy with lift, cannibalization, and margin impact assessments.
• Own ongoing competitive and market intelligence (e.g., Zola, Minted, Shutterfly) feeding insights into promo and product strategy.
• Serve as source of truth for key business definitions across Registry, WWS, and Paper.
