Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst in East Hartford to join the Aftermarket Modeling and Decision Intelligence team. The role focuses on forecast model development, validation, and enhancement to support current and future business needs.

You will develop Python-based models, participate in scrum, and use SQL/Excel for automation and validation, contributing to aftermarket financial evaluations and fleet management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 5 years engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based Next Gen forecast simulation model with logic fixes, enhancements and new features.
• Follow scrum process supporting model releases, testing, validation, and ticket creation/closure.
• Validate model results through the production process ecosystem.
• Leverage SQL, Python, Excel to create automation and process enhancements for model development and validation.
• Learn aftermarket business processes and support future state enhancements and optimization of simulation models.
• Engage in process changes through CORE and the PW leadership operating model.
