Job summary

Jarrett Gordon Ford Lincoln in Winter Haven, Florida seeks a motivated Mobile Automotive Service Technician to deliver dealership-quality maintenance and repairs directly to customers at their home, work, or other approved locations.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles in the field, performing oil changes, recalls, software updates, and other approved maintenance, while thoroughly documenting results and warranty details for customers. A focus on safety and service excellence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile maintenance, inspections, recalls, and eligible repairs at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles within the scope of mobile service operations.
• Perform services such as oil changes, filters, batteries, wiper blades, tire rotations, software updates, recalls, and other approved maintenance and repairs.
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Accurately document all work performed, including technician stories, inspection results, recommendations, and required warranty documentation.
• Properly clock in and out of repair orders and maintain accurate time and repair records.
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain completed services and recommendations when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked mobile service vehicle.
• Properly maintain dealership tools, equipment, inventory, and assigned vehicle.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, warranty, and safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Mobile Service staff, Parts, and management to ensure appointments are completed efficiently.
• Represent the dealership professionally while working at customer homes, businesses, and other off-site locations.
• Help build customer relationships and promote the convenience and value of Mobile Service.
