Job summary

Pundmann Ford in St. Charles, Missouri seeks an energetic Service Advisor with Ford experience to join our busy Service Center at 2727 West Clay St.

You will be the primary link between customers and technicians, translating vehicle needs into clear recommendations and scheduling service efficiently. Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting concerns, presenting estimates, upselling preventive maintenance, and delivering completed invoices with clear explanations.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar customer-facing automotive role.
• Ford experience is a MUST HAVE.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with dealership management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally; set expectations for service completion times.
• Document customer concerns and vehicle symptoms; input repair orders.
• Explain diagnostic results, estimates, and repair timelines to customers.
• Upsell preventative maintenance and required repairs based on guidelines.
• Track vehicle status, order parts, and update customers on price/timeline changes.
• Review invoices with customers and explain warranty or work performed.
