Job description

Tuttle Click Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Ford Diesel Technician at our Ford/Lincoln Irvine dealership.

Compensation:

Pay scale includes a base hourly rate between $33.00 and $132.00. Additional compensation may include a performance-based bonus with no fixed upper limit, and a retention bonus of $1.25 per booked hour.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on Diesel Vehicles efficiently, adhering to dealership and Ford standards.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning.
• Provide labor and cost estimates for repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs clearly to service advisors and customers.
• Stay updated with technical training and new vehicle technologies.
• Inspect and test vehicles, recording findings for repairs.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding work status.

Qualifications:

• Ford Diesel Certification preferred.
• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
