Hourly base pay rate is $31.49 - $47.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Position may include additional compensation such as commissions or incentives.

We are hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician.

The Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. They are relied upon for advanced diagnostics and are considered the lead on jobsites, acting as consultants for customers. They must comply with all policies and meet performance metrics.

DUTIES:

1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
2. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and more.
3. Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck systems using test instruments and road tests.
4. Identify problems, evaluate information, and generate solutions.
5. Manage parts inventory and perform vehicle safety checks.
6. Communicate effectively with clients and support teams.
7. Prioritize tasks and manage own schedule.
8. Use hand tools, diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and lifts.
9. Document work performed and parts used via company devices and applications.
10. Complete necessary forms accurately and timely.
11. Work independently, maintain productivity, and meet repair times.
12. Obtain required parts and communicate with management for approvals.
13. Follow safety protocols and conduct vehicle inspections.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess necessary hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Obtain 608/609 certifications within 18 months.
• Must pass DOT background screening and physical.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive in accordance with DOT regulations.

Certifications to obtain within 18 months:

• ASE T8 (PMI)
• ASE 608/609

Preferred Certifications:

• ASE T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, A8, L1, L2
