Job summary

Amentum is seeking an FORACS Electronics Engineer - Testing in West Palm Beach, FL to support NATO FORACS testing on US and NATO platforms. The role involves sensor testing, data collection, and real-time analysis for naval systems.

The position requires a Secret clearance eligibility, travel to sea locations, and collaboration with DoD personnel. You will contribute to test plans, develop methodologies, and produce timely technical reports for a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in RDT&E or similar programs.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology or science; 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work at height.
• Willingness to deploy to sea and travel up to 25% of the year.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support testing of installed sensors on surface ships, submarines, and helicopters.
• Operate and configure data collection networks for real-time data capture.
• Install and operate specialized test equipment to support testing.
• Monitor sensor setups to ensure data reflects performance.
• Analyze data, assess sensor performance, and produce reports.
• Liaise with naval personnel to achieve test goals.
• Develop test methodologies and contribute to procurement specs.
