This role involves working on data acquisition systems at the Naval Surface Warfare Center near Fort Lauderdale. Applicants should have a BS in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience with data acquisition software development.
Experience with the Navy or DoD laboratories is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work as a software development engineer in a multi-disciplinary team.
Develop hardware systems to acquire ocean sensor data.
Produce technical reports, SOPs, and presentations.
Contribute to project plans, test, and analysis plans.

Skills

Programming languages: MATLAB, Python, C++, LabVIEW

Developing data acquisition and control software

Acquiring analog data from sensors

Knowledge of National Instruments technology

Experience with oceanographic/underwater signatures data

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
