Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Edmond, Oklahoma seeks a friendly Sales Associate to greet customers, meet sales and work goals, and lead by example in accuracy and completeness of work. You’ll help present the store and merchandise to customers in the best possible light, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal with customers and staff.
• Basic verbal and non-verbal communication, organization, and math.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising and store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through service standards.
• Maintain awareness of promotions, stock, and store cleanliness.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Participate in inventories, shipping/receiving, and merchandise placement on the sales floor.
• Process sales and POS transactions accurately and ensure shoes are mates.
