Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Associate to deliver exceptional in-store experiences and drive sales. You will maintain a welcoming environment, assist customers with footwear choices, and uphold store standards for cleanliness and organization.

You will engage customers, promote the Hero brands, and work with the team to meet daily goals while delivering the Famous Feeling for every guest who enters the store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Positive communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in and the store runs smoothly.
• Champion our culture with stellar customer engagement and memorable experiences for customers.
• Review store performance and drive sales with urgency to achieve goals.
