Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Lead to act as the in-store expert, supporting brand standards and teammate experience under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager. The Lead will lead by example, coach teammates, and ensure exceptional customer service and store presentation.

This role emphasizes people development, input on hiring, and coordinating daily game plans, while maintaining safety and a welcoming environment for customers and teammates

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in retail or customer‑facing roles preferred.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs repetitively.
• Able to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store team with guidance from ASM/Store Manager.
• Uphold brand standards and ensure execution of programs and processes.
• Coach teammates and onboard new hires; encourage learning and growth.
• Plan and organize daily tasks, game plans, and store events.
• Create an inclusive, safe store environment for teammates and customers.
