Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team in North Carolina. You will deliver exceptional customer service, help customers select footwear, and drive store sales while adhering to company policies.

You will handle cash and POS transactions, maintain merchandise presentation, assist in inventory, and work as part of a collaborative team to present the store in its best light.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and staff.
• Basic communication, organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers following service standards.
• Meet sales and work goals as directed by store management.
• Lead other team members by example in accuracy and completeness of work.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and stock organization.
• Process sales and POS transactions accurately and securely.
• Participate in inventories, shipping/receiving, and merchandise placement on the sales floor.
